The board is the employer of all staff in the school, is responsible for setting the school’s strategic direction in consultation with parents, staff and students, and ensuring that its school provides a safe environment and quality education for all its students. Boards are also responsible for overseeing the management of personnel, curriculum, property, finance and administration.

Trustees are elected by the parent community, staff members and, in the case of schools with students above Year 9, the students.

The CTMS Board, welcomes any enquiries from parents or caregivers who would like to be a part of the Board.

Policies and Procedures

  

Clifton Terrace Model School works with SchoolDocs to bring you our Policies and Procedures and these documents are available for you to read on the SchoolDocs website.

The school works on a subscription basis with SchoolDocs to maintain, update, and support the review of our policies. SchoolDocs provides us with a comprehensive core set of policies which have been well researched and follow the Ministry of Education Guidelines. The policies and procedures are tailored to our school, and the school supplies specific information so these can be tailored for our school.

SchoolDocs updates, modifies, or creates policies in response to changes in legislation or Ministry guidelines, significant events, reviews/requests from schools, and regular reviewing from the SchoolDocs team. Our board of trustees has the opportunity to view changes/additions and comment on them before they are implemented.

If you don’t have internet access, the school office staff can provide you with printed copies of the policies.
